This, too ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- That puts me in mind of Nirvana I am trying hard to be a geek, but these darn websites are down every time I come to the internet cafe. Possibly, I just drank too much tea. I didn't know that this was possible. That's what I get for spending all morning at the Galleon, reading newspapers and Voltaire. Last time I read Voltaire two people approached me to comment on it and one to ask if I'd read Candide. Man, that's a lot of people's favourite book, hey? Nobody ever commented on a book I was reading while I was in England. 'cept mum, once or twice, and that was usually just to use my reading as a means of criticising my brother as not her son for having never in his life read a book outside of school. I think it a terrible thing that some greedy business types would hire and fire based largely upon appearance and such, but I think that every business I regularly patronise I do so at least partly based upon the prettyness of the staff. 'cept Mart, maybe. Okay, now the site's working again but it has logged me out and my post's gone into the ether. Awesome. Ah, shit, Adelaideguy's coming back, tomorrow, so shortly he and CantrememberwherehesfrombuthehasthatJapanesegirlfriendguy will be forcing me to go out and get smashed with them... which isn't always something to which I'm opposed, but I have a horrible feeling that it won't exactly be at a cosy local pub. I can't remember at what time I logged-in here, and accordingly am unsure how much time I have left before I go over into a new hour and have to pay three extra dollars. The water is starting to turn so yellow. 3:03 p.m. - 2007-01-08 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
