This, too

I repeat, as I haven't the money for time.

I'm sitting on a settee on a porch, eating flake and chips.
I am cooked like this fish, because... mad dogs and Englishmen, you know.
Having recently stepped-over my first dangerous spider I am, for once, hoping to remain alone in my seat, at least until my friend arrives.

It was strange to have been finally invited to a party and then left before it came-around, only to attend another.
I don't know what happened. I thought that I was doing all right. I hadn't eaten. I woke wondering when I even went into that room. I did *what* while *who* was right there? I said *that*?

Everyone thinks that it is cold. "Freezing!" they've said. I almost feel guilty when shrugging my T-shirted shoulders.

Heh, listen... they have the Antiques Roadshow.

It has been amazing to meet Alex.
She is every bit as beautiful and difficult and bright and far away.

I can't really talk like I used to. In person I have lost a lot to those recent years, and am less-of-Chiv than I used to be, but I hope that it will come back. Here and there the things that I said and needed to say in the past are things that I can't say, today.

C'mon, Melbourne, I am still lonely. You are too busy, cityfull.
