I am again reminded why I lost interest in more or less all computer games ('cept those to be found on the likes of the BBC Micro, which is roughly my age). Fuckererers! I just conquered Scotland with the loss of twenty-nine men; most of whom were Welsh, anyway; and the [indecipherable ravings] game turned off and sent me back to Windows as though nothing happened. Needless to say, it gave me no chance to save my progress. If I've to conquer Scotland again, I could be here all minute. [Grumbles] I was more impressed by the Poles. Two of them held out in Brandenburg for nearly eight years. Which translated into fucking hours of my time. And I've got no ale, so I'm going to have to read a book or go to bed, now. Bah. Anyone have the will and authority to rush through twenty-four hour licencing, and to join me at the pub? No? Don't make me execute your ringleaders! Infernal game. Damn newfangled personal compact laserific doo-dads. I miss the BBC Micro, again. Heh, oh feck, I'm bored. I'm going to have to figure-out a more reasonable play list. Leaping from Atari Teenage Riot to Hendrix to North Korean popaganda [did I just invent a new word, or is that already out there?] isn't helping me to order my scattered and seemingly pointless thoughts. I have to write a letter. I have to buy stamps. I need to know how to survive, because this won't do for much longer. Seven Easy Pieces and The Social Contract arrived, so that's a gift voucher well squandered. I'm worried that Lucy's about to leave -or has already left- Family Affairs. To-day... I was thinking about bits of Wales that are pretty. Then I had a crumpet and thought about how my jeans are falling apart.
